"Bhai did you two fight again?" Kabir Asked him rolling his eyeballs at him Manik glared at him and hit on his head lightly. 

"I did not fight with her, she's fighting with me, even I don't know why" He answered, frustratedly raising his arms, as he ran his hand through his hair, puzzled with her behaviour. 

"Maybe you might have said something wrong ,and then you forgot about that," Saad said thinking about it.

"Yeah, maybe this happened, because we know Nandini won't do anything without any reason," kabir spoke agreeing to whatever Saad said. 

"First of all I didn't say anything, and 2nd you both are behaving like obsequious fellows talking to her side, even I'm your brother" He complained glaring at both of them, they both sniggered and looked at Each other.

While Ayesha Nandini's mother too saw and heard everything that happened, she was coming from the kitchen, and the way Nandini talked with Manik ,She fumed, as she always taught her to behave nicely with elders, and with others too.

"Manik I'm sorry the way Nandini spoke with you, it was not correct " She apologised holding his both hands.  

"No chachi, you don't have to apologise for anything, don't make me guilty please " He replied immediately, clutching her hand, she smiled at his manners and cupped his cheek with one hand. 

"Okay, but I will talk with Nandu about it and you can't stop me" She told him, Manik windend  his eyes and nodded his head in agreement.

"No chachi please don't scold her, she was just in a bad mood because of it" Manik clarified, trying to make her understand. 

"No Manik ,I didn't teach her these manners, she have forgotten all the manners, is this a way to talk someone, and that too in-front of everyone, there were your friends too, What they must be thinking about her and she have no right to behave such way with you" She spoke furiously thinking about her behaviour. 

"Mami just forget it, she won't do it next time" Saad tried to calm her down. 

"I'm just doing this for her only, so she won't do it next time, you guys have spoiled her enough" ayesha told them sternly pacing towards her room. 

"What if chachi scold her too much" Kabir mumbled worriedly, Exchanging looks with saad and Manik

"Let's tell Mom about this so she can stop Chachi" Manik points out that Kabir, without waiting for them, sprint towards his parents room followed by both Saad and Manik. Kabir might tease Nandini or irritate her, but Even he loved her the most.

Nandini was sitting on her bed quietly, Eshal was checking her ankle, as she's a doctor too.  

"It's just a sprain, I'll twist your foot it will be fine" She told her while holding her foot, and noticed her lost in thoughts, she sighed and twisted her foot, Nandini screamed and held her arm coming out for her thoughts. 

"What are you doing idiot? " She yelled, slapping her arm lightly. 

"Are you blind can't you see?" She replied sarcastically, removing her hands and it was cured.

"You could have told me" She complained, leaning back on a pillow making herself comfortable. 

"I did but you were lost, tell me Nandini what are you thinking baby" Eshal asked her, nandini sighed and opened her mouth to answer When ayesha walked inside her room.

"Eshal I have to talk something to nandi can you please give us privacy" ayesha asked her politely cupping her face. 

"Sure aunty she's all yous" Eshal replied with a Smile and leave the room leaving them alone. 

"Ami" Nandini mumbled, throwing her arms around her neck, while Ayesha was surprised with the sudden hug, she wrapped her arms around her back securely.

As soon she saw her mother, tears welled up in her eyes, she just wanted to cry her heart out in her arms, where she find her peace, Those different feelings were eating her up even she don't know how to react, and then she felt her mother arms around her, her warmth was Everything the Needed at that moment, tears rolled down from her eyes, she cried hugging her tightly. 

" What happened,meri jaan? " Ayesha asked her why she's crying hysterically , she ran her hand through her hair slowly to calm her down. 

After like 10 minutes Nandini moved back and looked at her wiping her tears. Ayesha wanted to scold her but seeing her daughter like this she forgot all her anger. 

"Bacha tell me what happend, you seem to be disturbed, you want to share it with me" Ayesha said wiping her face with the tissue lovingly.   

"Ami, I'm just feeling something different when I talk to Manik now, I saw him with her friend and I didn't like it, I felt bad, i just want him to be only my best friend, i don't like him when he give his attention to someone else, he used to give me all his attention in childhood now he is changed, he don't even share anything with me now" Nandini told her what she was going through ayesha just chuckled at her daughter's silliness. 

"You are such an idiot, why are you getting jealous Nandini, he's is the same Manik, he's just grown up now. In childhood you know he was kind of reserved so you were only his friend, that's why his whole attention used to be on you merely, and he giving you the attention now too, he have to give his attention to others too, now he have new friends, and in future he will get married to someone he will give attention to his wife too, you have to get used to it" Ayesha explained her and she noticed how her expression changed when she mentioned about his wedding, she smiled then she continued.  

"And about friendship and sharing things, you both have just interacted to each after 9 years, it will take time for you two to be same again, so just give each other some time baby, understand each other" Ayesha told her caressing her head, Nandini smile as a weight lift off from her shoulder, 

"Thankyou Ami, you are the best," She cheerful replied as she side hugged her and kissed her cheek 

"And last thing Nandini , they way you talked to Manik today was not right, he might be your friend but he's is elder to you, you shouldn't have talk to him with that tone, especially when everyone was around, did you forget your manners, you should always give respect to everyone, Don't throw your angry on others understood" Ayesha made her understand this calmly, She nodded her head in understanding like a baby. 

"Now let's go and you should apologise to him okay" She told her getting up from her bed, Nandini agreed to her feeling remorseful about it too.

"Ami actually..." Nandini wanted to ask her about her behaviour whenever she's around Manik ,or when he touches her but then she ignored it.

"Yes?" Ayesh asked examining her, she have an idea what's cooking in her daughter's head then Nandini mumbled nothing, she chuckled and then thought to give her some time. 

They open the door to see Jannat already standing with Manik, Saad and kabir they looked at Nandini and noticed her face, they were sure that she have cried.

"Baby did your mother scold you too much baby" Jannat asked her cupping her face affectionately Nandini smiled and shook her head. 

"No she didn't Mama" she replied assuring her, she removed her hands and moved closer to Manik nervously, who was just staring at her. 

"I..I'm really sorry Manik , I shouldn't have talked to that way, I was just in a bad mood I'm sorry" she apologised holding her both ears with a cute pout on her face, Manik was not even angry with her but seeing her face he just got lost what he was about to say. 

"Cute" he whispered, staring at her, she knitted her brows looking at him, he realised he said it loudly and looked here and there to reply Kabir smirked as he caught him staring at her.

"Hey it's okay, you don't have to say sorry," he replied shaking her head in no, and removing her hands from her ear she smiled at him.

"How's your foot," he asked, kneeling down to check her she instantly moved back, seeing him kneeling down, her heart fluttering with his gestures he looked at her raising his bro... 

"It's fine Manik , get up please," She told him, gesturing with her hand as he was about to touch her foot, which she didn't want, his touch affected her badly.

Ayesha already had an idea with her daughter's behaviour, but Manik was perplexed, but he shoved his thoughts away. 

They moved to living room, and Eshal was helping barkat in some work, both were talking laughing together, as they knew Each-other from ages.

"How are you now?" Eshal asked as soon she saw Nandini, pacing towards her. 

"I'm fine, in-fact even better" She replied, assuring her, Eshal observed her face to find any lie but she didn't find any, so she sighed in relief.

"So now that you are fine, I need to tell you something come" She told her and held her hand to drag her away to a corner, as Eshal got to know that haram and Zain dated Eachother once, so she was trying to hook them up again, She wanted to tell this to Nandini, but they saw grandpa asking everyone to join him for lunch so they agreed.

"So saad, is all set for his new journey, Even Kabir already likes some too," His Grandpa said looking at both saad and Kabir ,hearing him he just glared at Eshal, She hid her face and placed her head on Nandini’s shoulder.

"Grandpa I don't like some, it was just a misunderstanding that's it, I'm happy being the way I'm, why don't you focus on bhai" Kabir clarified raising his hands, And then point at Manik earning a glare from him rest of them sniggered at his words. 

"Yeah I was about to ask you Manik , do you like someone or do you have someone in your mind" grandpa questioned him, Manik broadened his eyes, pressed his lips together, and ran his hand through his hair nervously, not knowing what to answer him as he himself was confused.  

"Erm..dadu I don't like anyone, And for now my focus is on my work that's it " he replied as his eyes went to Nandini before answering she was surprised with his answer as she thought that he like haram, so why he's not telling anyone but the she chuckled her thoughts aside.  

"You are too focused on work, that you have forgotten you have family too and we want you to get settled" Jannat told him with a saddened look expressing her feelings.  

"Mama, I have a lot of time to get settled, don't feel bad about it" He replied cheering her as he held her hand she didn't give him any response. 

"Look Manik, we know that your main focus is on your work, but you are well settled, and you are the elder son of this house, we want you to get married too," His father admitted to him, Manik sighed at his words.  

"And Manik I don't know how much time I have, so I just want to see all my grandchildren settled in their life's, so if you don't like someone ,we can find the one for you" His Grandpa expresses his wish and advises him with seriousness. 

"Even we have someone in mind" Jannat blurted out excited exchanging looks with rest of elders they know whom she's is talking about, While Nandini got bewildered 

"Dadu chill nothing will happen to you, and mama about marriage & all, I'm not ready for it please" he told them clearly shutting the topic. 

Elders just looked at Eachother and sighed, rolling their eyes.  

"What about you nandu ,do you like some baby "Ayesha asked her politely, making her stunt with the sudden question.
