"What about you Nandini do you like some baby " Ayesha asked her politely making her  shocked, She chocked the water she was drinking and gulped nervously looked at Everyone, whose gaze were fixed on her. 

Eshal Nugged her shoulder teasingly, She shot her a glared, and eyed her to stop it.

"Why are you asking this Suddenly Ami" She asked her opening her mouth. 

"What you mean, this is the best age for you to get married, and baby your are settled too, a very good doctor a lot of relatives are asking for your hand, But we thought to ask you first" Ayesha explain her calmly, The elder ladies agreed with her.

Nandini got uncomfortable with that marriage subject, On the other hand Manik shifted uncomfortably hearing them, his eyes stopped at her, He gaped at her, She was fiddling with her fingers, tucking her hair strain behind her ear which was falling on her beautiful face.

"Erm, why are you guys making her uncomfortable, and she's still a kid, why do you guys want her to get married this soon?" Manik answered on behalf of her, getting a bit irritated with this topic, Nandini snapped her head hearing him. 

"Really? Bhai a kid, Even Eshal is at the same age, so if she can get married why can't Nandini" kabir Asked him, raised his brows with a teasy look, Manik shot him a deathly glare He smirked in return not caring about the looks he's giving her.

"And Manik do you have a problem if Nandini gets Married, I mean she didn't even deny" Eshal said mischievously with a smirk. 

"Stop it what are you doing" Nandini murmured in her ear as she elbowed her stopping her. 

"Helping you" Eshal replied glaring at her then turned to Manik with a fake smile waiting for his answer, so were the rest of them, Jannat and Ayesha exchanged looks with each with hopefully expressions, which didn't go unnoticed by Eshal. 

Manik was thinking what to answer , he rubbed his nape nervously, he was himself perplex why he was feeling like that, His phone ringed he sighed in relief And vanished from there giving them excuse, Others sighed watching his disappearing figure.

The closed stopped at 7 in the night, when some of ladies walked inside the living room, with some of stuff in their hands, Barkat looked at them and welcomed them warmly.  

"Nandu, call all the ladies, henna designers are here, I'll just get water for them okay" Saad's Mother Barkat told her as she saw her coming from garden. 

"Okay puphii " Nandini replied cheerfully before running to call others, making Barkat chuckled at her. 

After 10 minutes all the girls gathered in garden, they made themselves comfortable on the floor where, Jannat and Ayesha placed blankets and pillows so they can be comfortable, and Barkat came with a tray full of snacks and drinks, with a butler following her, she placed all the items on table carefully. 

Nandinu joined them after 15 minutes, changed in plain red suit paired up the chiffon dupatta, with her hair tied in a half bun, some little strains falling on her face, 

The henna designers were applying heena on respective palms of girls for tomorrow's function The Engagement ceremony. 

"Mama won't out henna colour be dull till the wedding, " Nandini asked her frowning as the wedding is taking place after 10 days.  

"No it's black henna, the colour will remain same, so chill" Jannat said assuring her the smile.

"Chachi, Jannat Mami really like Nandini a lot no. " Eshal start a conversation with ayesha, watching them, as they both were laughing and chatting together, sharing food too, as Jannat was making her eat and Nandini was repeating the same. 

"Yeah, she loves her, and Nandinu feels the same for her, A lot of the time people think that she's is her daughter" Ayesha replied smilingly as she watched them. 

"You and Mami want her to get married to Manik don't you?" She asked her nervously as she's clueless how will she react but soon she sighed in relief when she smiled at her.

"Not only me and Jannat, the whole family want that, from their childhood we have thought about it. Nandini  is the only girl child in our family, She's the most pampered child, we always give her what she had wished for, you know that she have received extra love from 2 father and 2 mothers, Her both fathers are too protective for her, you know when she was a kid they didn't even let her crawl because they didn't want her soft feet and hands on hard floor, they used to say she will hurt herself " Ayesha told her, a laugh escaped from her mouth remembering it the old days.

" And they were not even giving her permission to go out of country for further studies, she cried and forced them, and that's it , seeing the her tears they agreed somehow, but they got relieved when saad purpose to go with her not leaving her alone, so how can you think that, they will let her go away from them, giving her responsibility to someone it's very difficult for us, we don't know how the guy will be, what the will do with her, and knowing her she will do anything but won't tell us how much she's suffering, we are scared for her, And when they both became best friends, we saw how Manik used to take care for her, when they got mature, even her friends used to tease her, but she never got angry infact she used to get shy, and Even Manik never mind it, even he used to get jealous when she used to spend her time with other guys , So he stopped her, we saw how beautiful they looked with Each other, the way Manik protect her, his possessiveness toward her we have seen it all, And after that all of our worries vanished, we got our answers" She Explained her calmly, while Eshal was listening Everything carefully 

"But we have neve expressed our wish, we were scared when Manik and Nandini got separated for their respective studies, we were scared what if Nandini fall in love with someone, we won't be able to handle it, but nothing sort of that happened, But we didn't know how will they behave with Each-other, but they were okay," She said feeding her a sandwich as she saw her listening to her for a while now, she might be hungry Eshal muttered a Thank you to her.

"You think we don't know kabir teased them, He knows everything and saad too, and I have seen the way Nandini behave around Manik, that nervousness, the way her eyes twinkled whenever she see him, she likes him, and I'm sure you have noticed that too being her best friend" Ayesha commented raising his eyebrow and wink at her, Eshal was surprised hearing her. 

"If you knew this why don't you tell your idiot daughter" Eshal hinted with a shrug of her shoulder. 

"I want her to realise it by herself, if I tell her she will deny it" She replied even Eshal agreed to her, as when she told Nandini the same thing she didn't accept it. 

"Erm, but what about Manik, what if he likes someone else?" Eshal asked her to think about him. 

"Really didn't you notice how he reacted when we talked about Nandini’s marriage, he was so uncomfortable it was written on his face" Ayesha answered and Eshal nodded laughingly remembering his reaction and Ayesha joined her. 

"So what cooking between my best friends and my mother, you both forget me how bad" Nandini complained as she joined them sitting between them.

"Finally you got the time for me, and we didn't forget you, you were busy with chachi" Eshal taunted her rolling her eyes, Nandini chuckled and kissed her cheek to make her smile, Ayesha left both of them alone smiling. 

"Don't be mad now Eshuu I'm sorry " Nandini said making the cutest face ever to melt her Eshal turned her face other side. 

"You should spend time with me, but you were too busy with your mother-in-law" Eshal complained tuning to face her. 

"Eshal" Nandini warned her Eshal just made whatever face, she sighed shaking her head before she could reply they heard haram.  

"Mother-in-law? You guys were talking about Nandini’s mother-in-law" Haram asked them as she heard them while she was passing Nandini winded her eyes, while Eshal didn't care about that.

"No not mine Eshal's mother-in-law, my pupho" Nandini replied glaring at Eshal haram mouthed okay! And sit with them. 

"Nandini, won't write any alphabet on your heena" Fariyal asked her sitting beside her and noticed her being. 

"Yes she will write N and M  "Eshal replied winking at her, Nandini shot her a glare, while  faryal got confused, and haram got suspicious about whom they talking about 

"Nandini Malhotra Eshal explained, watching their confused faces, Nandini fake smiled at them. 

"Stop it Eshal," Nandini whispered in her ear Eshal rolled her eyes. 

"What? You want me to tell them in detail, Manik and Nandini" Eshal remarked, raising her brows Nandini huffed in irritation. 

"What do you want me to write mam" The designer asked her When she felt a gaze on herself she looked up. 

"Manik" She whispered getting confused as he was calling her with the gesture of his hand, She raised her eyebrows at him questioning him.

Saad and kabir were having fun playing video games with grandpa, both kabir and his grandad were bickering with Each-other Saad was laughing at them.

At the same time Manik was sitting with his Dad and uncle , they were speaking about their business, they were giving him some ideas and advice about his work too, which he was noting down kneely. 

They were talking about wedding preparation, about how much the work is done, Manik being the owner of hotels, he has organised a Lot of functions so he was conveying his ideas to them, they were in a serious discussion when Kabir interrupted them. 

"Bhai, are you here to discuss business with them, you are here for wedding so enjoy it, stop being so boring" he complained as he and saad were watching him for a while they were rolling his eyes at him 

"He's helping us unlike you, do some work too Kabir stops behaving like a child" His father taunted him. 

"I'm a child dad so I will behave like one" 

He replied with a smirk, His father sighed shaking his head at his idiot & spoiled son 

"It's okay papa, let him enjoy" Manik said, stopping him as he was about to scold him.

"He's becoming spoiled brat day by day, he have to become responsible like you, you are spoiling him more Manik" His father started getting worried about him. 

"Dad let him enjoy for now, he's gonna handle your business only, I'll teach him everything okay don't stress about him I'm here" Manik Explained him calmly he nodded head in yes. 

"Bhai come and  play for me see how grandpa is cheating, again and again" kabir shouted for Manik cribbing like a baby.

"Go anyways he won't let you work" His father ordered him he nodded his head with a chuckle. 

"Hello you don't know how to play, and putting blame on me" his grandfather teased him, Manik heard them as he walked near them.

"Move I'll play" Manik ordered him ruffling his hair, he got up getting happy before shifting into another seat.

"YES" kabir exclaimed loudly as Manik won the game while their grandfather tossed the remote on the table.  

"Manik cheated I know" his grandfather accused him, Kabir rolled his eyes and their bickering started, while saad was clutching his hair in his fist watching them. 

Manik laughed at them before walking out, He spotted Nandini sitting with other girls, he watched her how beautifully she's smiling, and trying to remove her hair strains which were falling on her beautiful face.

He thought something, and was guessing how to call her, but when Nandini herself looked at him he got surprised, but nevertheless, he signalled to come here with his hand, she didn't understand he sighed before walking towards her.
